Project 01
MTA Purple Line
The Maryland Purple Line Project is a 16-mile light rail transit system connecting Bethesda in Montgomery County to New Carrollton in Prince George’s County, Maryland. With 21 stations, the project is designed to improve regional connectivity, enhance public transportation, and provide convenient access to employment centers, educational institutions, and surrounding communities.
S&J Service, Inc. contributed to this major transportation initiative by assisting with underground site utilities work at multiple Purple Line stations. This work supported essential infrastructure coordination and helped prepare station sites for continued construction and development. S&J Service, Inc. demonstrated its commitment to supporting complex infrastructure projects through dependable subcontracting services, teamwork, and attention to detail.

DC Water Sewer Laterals and Main Repairs and Replacements
The DC Water Sewer Laterals and Main Repairs and Replacements project focuses on rehabilitating and replacing aging or damaged sewer infrastructure throughout Washington, D.C. The work helps improve wastewater flow, reduce sewer backups, address deteriorating pipes, and enhance the reliability of the District’s sewer system. These improvements support long-term infrastructure performance, protect public health, and help maintain a safe and efficient wastewater network for local residents and businesses.
S&J Service, Inc. supported this essential infrastructure initiative by assisting with sewer lateral and main construction, repairs, and replacement work. The company also provided 24/7 on-call services to help address urgent sewer-related needs and support timely project response. Through its dependable subcontracting support, S&J Service, Inc. contributed to maintaining reliable wastewater infrastructure, reducing service disruptions, and protecting the health and safety of the communities served.

DC Water Lead Service Replacements
The DC Water Lead Service Replacement Program focuses on replacing aging lead water service lines with safer, modern piping to help protect public health and improve drinking water infrastructure throughout Washington, D.C. As part of this initiative, S&J Service, Inc. supported efforts to upgrade the District’s water distribution system through important lead service line replacement work. This work contributes to reducing the risk of lead exposure, improving water service reliability, and supporting DC Water’s long-term goal of providing safe, dependable drinking water to the community.
Through multiple different programs including LSR, LPRAP, SDWMR, and other essential infrastructure services, S&J Service, Inc. helped support the modernization of the District’s water distribution system, improve service reliability, and advance efforts to provide safe, dependable drinking water to the communities served.
